I have been reborning for over six years. The art of reborning has grown and evolved in that time. Techniques have come a very long way. With each baby, I strive to achieve the greatest degree of realism possible. Attention to detail is very important to me. If you look closely you will discover tiny veins, capillaries, and milia on my babies depending upon the age I am trying to portray. I use genesis heat set paints in creating my reborns. Each layer is meticulously applied until I have achieved the look that I desire. Mohair is finely micro-rooted. This process takes time, but is well worth the effort. My babies are weighted with a combination of glass beads and poly pellets to add to their realism. My babies reside in the United States, Canada, Europe, and New Zealand.
I am a self-taught sculptor. I continue to refine my skills. There is something magical about taking a lump of clay and manipulating it into a lovely baby. It seems the clay begins to speak, guiding one along the way. As the sculpt evolves, I begin to make changes as the sculpt directs me. Sculpting is truly a labor of love. Some sculpts come together quickly, while others demand much time. It seems the process is different each time.
I have been designing and sewing clothing since I was a teenager. Baby clothes are my passion. I hope you enjoy them.
I am the mother of three grown daughters. My husband and I have been in business together for over 25 years. We have three beautiful grandsons who bring us more joy than we could have ever imagined.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you will take time each day to enjoy the beauty in the world. God bless.
